The Kieber patrilineal line belongs to the R1b Haplogroup, subclade R-U106. R1b1a2a1a1a. It is a common sub-clade of the Netherlands, Denmark, Germany, and Belgium. All direct line male descendants will show this DNA marker.

Daniel Küber, b. about 1689 Erlinsbach, Aargau, Switzerland, married in Preuschdorf 1725 Maria Jacoba Dobler, daughter of Jakob Dobler.

Jean Henri Kieber (Laborer) b. 1739 Preuschdorf d. 1808 Preuschdorf m.1762 Anna Dorothe Tuba, b.1732 Preuschdorf to Andreas Tuba and Anna Dorothy Clauss.
3rd Great Grandfather:
Georges Frédéric Kieber (Weaver, Deputy Mayor of Oberhoffen-lès-Wissembourg) b.1768 Preuschdorf, d.1818 Oberhoffen-lès-Wissembourg, Bas Rhin, Alsace, m.1807 in Oberhoffen-lès-Wissembourg Julienne Magdalena Walter b. 1780 Oberhoffen to Michel Walter a farmer in Wingen and Margeuethe Schumacher.
