My 6th great grandfather, Hans Henrich (Daniel) was born in 1660 in Erlinsbach, Aarau — well, at least that is where the earliest French records say he is from. On 16 June 1676 he married Anna Maria Hoffman in Erlinsbach. He was listed as a Lutheran.

A year later, their first daughter, Salomé on 17 july 1677 in Erlinsbach.

A son, Albrecht was born 10 Jan 1678 in Erlinsbach. He would marry Anna Haenel in 1720 Erlinsbach. They had 3 children. Al died on 23 May 1748 in LAngensoultzbach.

Another daughter, Anna was born on 11 Jan 1680 in Erlinsbach.

Hans Heinrich was born on 22 July 1683 in Erlinsbach. He married Anna Catherina Erni of Detwiler on 23 Nov 1713 in Dettwiler. They had 8 childen. Henry died on 11 April 1762 in Langensoultzbach.

Rudolf was born 1 Mar 1685 in Erlinsbach. He died 17 Oct 1709 in Langensoultzbach.

Fifth Great-Grandfather, Johann Daniel was born 17 Oct 1686 in Erlinsbach. He married Maria Jacoba Dobler in July 1725 in Preuschdorf. Daniel died in Preuschdorf on 25  Sep 1739. They had six children.

Son Samuel was next, born in Erlinsbach 1 Aug 1690. Sam married Anna Marie Buhlman on 20 Jan 1732 Langensoultzbach. They had nine children. Sam died in La.ngensoultzbach in 1793.

And the last child born was Benedict about 1693.He married Maria Elisabeth Meyer on 16 Feb 173 in Langensoultsbach. They had seven chidren. Hos father was about 33 years old. Ben died on 12 Aug 1738 in Windstein, Bas Rhin.

Therefore, Hans Heinrich and the family must have left Switzerland someitme between 1690 and 1693 and emigrated to Bas Rhin.
