Johann Baptist Ruhland, b. 1820 in Untergrafenreid, Waldmunchen, Bavaria, d. 1896 Buffalo NY. He married Eva Hetzl of Schaferie in 1854 and they raised 4 children in Buffalo NY.
“John” was son of laborer Johann “Andreas” Ruhland b. 1784 Untergrafenried d. 1847 Untergrafenreid and Walburga Eiber b. 1782 Untergrafenreid d. 1840 Untergrafenreid.
Johann Andreas Ruhland was the son of laborer Johann “Adam” Ruhland b.1767 Bavaria d. 1841 Untergrafenreid and Eva “Margaretha” Wagner b. 1768 Bavaria d. 1840 Untergrafenreid.
Walburga Eiber was the daughter of small farmer in Untergrafenried, Sebastien Eiber and Anna Sara Balk.
Johann Adam Ruhland (now spelled Rueland) was the son of Sebastien Rueland b. Untergrafenreid, d. 1804 Ast, Bavaria and Margarethe Wilhemina Bauer.
Eva Margarethe Wagner was the daughter of Johann Georg Wagner and Cynthia (Catharina) Geigant b. 1741 Germany.
Sebastien Rueland was the son of Michael Ruelant (note new spelling again) and a possible Margarethe.
Catherina Geigant was the daughter of Michael Geigant.
