Bourbon Balls

posted in: Uncategorized | 0

This is Priscilla Lasecki Kieber’s recipe card for Bourbon Balls. They are a traditional holiday hit in our house, though we substitute rum (maybe the Dominican influence, eh Kat?).

In case you can’t read the card:

3 cups (1 box) crushed vanilla wafers

1 cup powder sugar

1 Cup nuts

3 Tablespoon corn syrup

3 Tablespoons cocoa

1/2 cup bourbon (Jack Daniels)

Combine first 5 ingredients and mix well. Add liquor.  Mix well and chill 2-3 hours.

Form into balls and roll in powdered sugar.
